Job Description: |
Being a houseparent at CSF-Buxmont is a chance to make a real
difference in children's lives. Houseparent couples live full-time in our beautiful, single-family homes, providing support and
supervision to a maximum of six teenage boys or girls who reside
in our program as a result of behavioral, family, emotional or legal
problems. All youths who live in our homes attend one of our
school/day treatment centers where they receive academic and life
skills training, as well as individual and group counseling. A
consistent, unifying philosophy and treatment approach in a.ll CSFBuxmont
programs has resulted in a proven track record in helping
young people find a positive path. Living expenses are provided.
Primary houseparents receive a full-time salary, and the other part-time
houseparent may work at an independent, full-time day job, or
attend school. Full benefits are offered, as is regular, frequent time
off. Houseparent couples must be over 21 years old, have active,
clean drivers licenses, and be approved after child abuse clearances
and criminal background checks. As one CSF-Buxmont

following position at our Wabash Residential Campus:
Houseparents, functioning as a husband and wife team, help youth learn to function
in a home-like setting. By example and teaching, Houseparents offer; healthy values,
a safe and secure structured environment, and opportunities for relationship building.
Houseparents work as a full member of a treatment team for a cottage of residents.
This position requires a married couple who are at least 21 years of age, have a high
school diploma or equivalent and have a positive work history and driving record. Experience
working with youth is preferred. Responsibilities include supervision of male or
female residents, providing transportation for a variety of events, supervising recreational
and campus events, being a team player and a positive role model for residents in
